Bethan Ash - Over Twenty

An inspiring and vibrant exhibition of diverse and stimulating work, this exhibition features a selection of art quilts and collages that have been made during the past twenty years. The work on show represents an artistic range of textiles and alludes to the history of the art quilt.

A special ‘Crank Up’ of combustion engines for the New Year at the Internal Fire Museum of Power

As usual there will be cawl and cheese along with an abundance of mince pies. Hopefully we will not be frozen solid this year and should be running a bit more. This will be a first public event for the new Crossley HD 3 in Hall 1 and the Mirrlees ULA5 in Hall 7.

Those who are feeling cold will be able to warm themselves with the fan heater in the Turbine Shed, certainly takes the chill off !

Celebrate the New Year with Songs & Illuminated Lanterns

This is an open invitation to the public to join Small World Theatre’s lantern procession through Cardigan town and stopping at the quay to release lanterns into the sky and float some down the river.  The procession is meeting at the Guildhall at 7.45pm on 1st January 2010.

We are also inviting all singers to meet at Small World Centre at 6.00pm on 1st January for a rehearsal with Lou Laurens and later join the public lantern spectacular for songs on the quay.
