Our NEW GHOST TOURS of the mine and old buildings will start on Saturday June 19th from 5.30pm to 8.00pm. Hear folk tales of the supernatural and mining superstitions, Explore the mine by candlelight and hear the ‘knockers’ hard at work in the darkness. Wander through the dead forest and into the ancient buildings.
We take you into two of the mine chambers, or stopes, both dating from 200 years ago. The Big Stope has a distinct ‘cold spot’ where an old ladderway once ran up to the surface. Many mediums have told of a child’s spirit here and an accident long ago! The second chamber forms part of Poole’s Mine and is a place where many Orbs have appeared in photographs. Can you see the Red Soldier? This Napoleonic War figure sometimes turns up in photographs as well and we have the proof! Over 300 years of mining history is all around you on this fascinating experience.
Don’t forget to bring your camera, you may be very surprised by what you find! The paranormal awaits you!!

Tours may be postponed in severe weather conditions within the Cambrian Mountains and will not run with less than 10 people. In the event of a tour being cancelled, full refunds will be given. Further dates will be announced in due course.
